THE COMEDY CHANNEL CITY IDENT 2 DAYTIME


The Comedy Channel branding package was inspired by the world of the theatre, drawing from old typographic theatrical and Las Vegas style signage.
The comedy world is revealed behind the stage door and is made up of various discarded props and comedy inspired typography presenting strangely familiar one-liners.

As The Comedy Channel wanted to air these two idents during the day & at night, we produced two versions of each. A day time version, which was ambient and bright, and a night time version, where we darkened the scene and illuminated various elements and signage.

Involvement: modelling, animating, texturing, lighting, rendering, compositing & art direction.
